Resumo
The second CHeurope’s summer school will take place in Gotheburg (Sweden) from 16th to 21st June 2019. Focusing on the theme “Objects: Ontologies, Agencies and Relationships”, the summer school will relate to human interaction with objects as well as the relationship between objects and each other, object agencies, and some of the ontologies used in theoretical encounters with objects. In accessing these concepts, the week will be split between three themes: the role of objects in heritage and wellbeing; the city as an object(s) and the impact of neglect, and material entanglements. This will take place in the form of a series of lectures, guided tours and collaborative workshops. Moreover, the week will also include a grant writing workshop provided by Forsknings- och innovationskontoret (FIK – the Grants and Innovations office) at the University of Gothenburg, as well as conversations about options for professional heritage careers post- CHEurope.
