Resumo
How local identities are negotiated through the use of aromatic and medicinal plants (AMP) - “Ethnobotanical identities”? How the knowledge has been transmitted? What is the potential of ethnobotany in the construction of local social economy, hence “Experiential Sustainability” (Nitsiakos, 2016)? The study investigates the effects of globalization and urbanization on traditional ethnobotanical knowledge and use. It analyses the dynamics of gender knowledge and roles, local plant-naming systems, likewise the environmental, economic, therefore social, impacts of commercial non-timber natural (forest) product harvest.
