Resumo
XSCAPE Project an ERC Synergy Grant on Material Minds. Video recorded at the time of the XSCAPE First General Assembly, Santiago de Compostela, May 23-26, 2023. The main research question of the XSCAPE Project is, in short: Do the worlds we build alter our mind? ERC-2020-SyG 951631 – XSCAPE Project 'Material Minds: Exploring the Interactions between Predictive Brains, Cultural Artefacts, and Embodied Visual Search'. Material Minds (acronym XSCAPE) is an ERC Synergy Grant project, as announced by the European Research Council on Nov 5, 2020. Material Minds Lab is the experimental facility of the XSCAPE Project based in INCIPIT-CSIC in Santiago de Compostela. The PIs of XSCAPE are Felipe Criado-Boado (corresponding PI) of the INCIPIT-CSIC, Luis M. Martínez-Otero of the Institute of Neurosciences (joint centre of CSIC and UMH), Andy Clark, of the Departments of Informatics and Philosophy of the University of Sussex, and Johannes Müller, of the Institute of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Archaeology of Kiel University.
