Resumo
The aim of this text is to provide some ideas to discuss about the economic sustainability of Archaeology in a post-crisis scenario. The text is rooted in three European-wide projects (ACE, DISCO and NEARCH) in which the authors have been so intensively engaged so Willem Willems was. His broad view of Archaeology ever challenged any still practice.
