Summary
The propose of this paper is to ask the following questions: Which cultural and social changes are related to transformation in the way of thinking and representing the world in the transition between Prehistory and historical times? Why the landscape is not represented in rock art panels? Why most of the prehistoric art is in a natural context? What kind of relationship exist between the lack of spatial references and the absence of physical limits in prehistoric rock art? Why this situation changes when scenes are represented in other historical contexts?
