........................

In this last JRS, the programme will focus on doing comparative research in the critical heritage studies discipline, and the role of heritage in the future of Europe. Four established scholars will join the group: Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett, Chiara Bortolotto, Paula Mota Santos, and Valdimar Hafstein. They will share their ideas and experiences on these topics during seminars and workshops with the ESR’s, and public lectures in the evening. You will find an abstract of their sessions and a biography at the end of this document. In addition to the contributions of external scholars, a main part of the JRS will focus on our own work. A number of sessions have been planned on the Wednesday in which we will all share a piece of our written work with people from our work package and other participants, with the aim to receive feedback from both our peers and the work package’s supervisors.

Thereby, a supervisor from the same work package will review their work prior to the JRS, so each of us will receive an in-depth critique on our work from someone other than their own supervisor.
