Summary
Landscape-rooted (in)tangible heritage elements (memories, histories, narratives, identities, values, emotions) can be converted via ?Emotional Cartography' techniques into Digital, Collective, Critical Emotional cartographic data. The thesis analyses the application of ?emotional cartography', as an experimental, interactive, interpretative, socially-engaged ? critical and innovative digital knowledge tool, together with and the Participatory Action Research. Such digital tools will be studied and tested on the example of dynamic emotional-scapes of Galicia and Serbia, within two case studies, with the objective to read and rethink their ?emotional' memoryscape, languagescape, musicscape, or any other ?scape?, and critically interpret the poetics of places and their memory/ies. Furthermore, it questions ?emotional cartography' as tool that, presumably, can offer new models for integrated heritage management, heritage socialization, social innovation and cohesion, as well as knowledge transfer among different social actors.
