Summary
This article investigates changes in human occupation in a zone of the CentralPyrenees from the first occupations to the 20th century. The archeological structuresrecorded during fieldwork in the study area were analyzed in order to develop a typological classification. Huts, enclosures, rock shelters and other architectural remains were analyzed to identify the morphological similarities and differences between the archaeological sites in terms of size, number of structures and chronology. In addition, this study suggests a sociohistorical interpretation of the differences in the archaeological record in a large-scale chronological framework. The final goal is to understand the changes in the livestock practices and build a historical sequence of human occupation in the Pyrenees.
